Temple Desecration have a very dynamic range. They change styles and tempos with ease, like changing a pair of pants. They run the gamut from blood frenzy to hypnotically slow, and even throw in a crazy lady yelling curses.
Once again, IRON BONEHEAD PRODUCTIONS scours the darkest depths of the underground to find the filthiest, foulest gold: Poland's shadow-draped TEMPLE DESECRATION arrive with their debut 12" MLP, Communion Perished. At two tracks totaling 12 minutes, Communion Perished is the perfect length to display the band's defiling, dread-inducing power. Moving effortlessly from bestial surge to doom chunder, wide-eyed abandon to red-eyed respite, TEMPLE DESECRATION's brand of blackened death metal conjures countless visions of sickness and unrest, apocalyptic torment, the profane profoundly bespoiled. The final sacrament is offered, and it is Communion Perished...

On this EP the songs show variety in their dynamics of harmony, tempo & time signature. The EP is aimed to draw one into a journey of utter hate, despair & madness. The journey explores a turmoil of spiritual tension: the use of barbaric mid-pace & triplet blasting accompanying demented DM riffs at climactic points; then dropping in tempo towards a slower cacophony. Drugged chords create the guitar filth, which, along with the slow, incantation-like vocals, are rather catchy & fittingly placed. xhrl_
